Afropia Adventures is the realization of a lifelong dream shared by two childhood friends. Born and raised in a small town in the north of Ethiopia, they spent their youth captivated by the stories and beauty of their homeland, nurturing a shared ambition to one day become guides.
This passion led them to Addis Ababa, where they formally studied tour guiding and the French language. For years, they honed their skills as freelance travel guides, leading curious explorers to every corner of Ethiopia. With every journey, their vision became clearer: to create a travel company that went beyond the standard itinerary.
In 2019, that vision became reality with the founding of Afropia Adventures.
